School Nurse - RN/BSN
We are currently seeking passionate and energetic Registered Nurses (RNs). Full-time schedule Monday-Friday daytime hours during the school year.
Responsibilities will include
Assists coordinator of nursing, school health education committee, and administrators in developing an effective school health program
Provides emergency nursing services for sick or injured students at school; Notifies parents of students about illnesses, physical defects and potential health problems and provides health counseling
Administers first aid in accordance with established first aid procedures
Valid Virginia Registered Nursing (RN) license
Prior experience working with children, young adults, families, teachers and school administrators
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
