Chesterfield County is currently recruiting for an ERP Systems Administrator. ERP Systems Administrators play a vital role in the health, stability and integrity of the ERP Financial System that supports Government and School financials. The ERP Financial System is made up of multiple software and hardware components including interfaces to several outside financial systems. ERP Systems Administrators are responsible for installing, updating, patching, configuring, fine-tuning and monitoring of the ERP system. They also develop solutions for preventative maintenance and other system housekeeping activities to ensure system durability. ERP Systems Administrators serve as the primary point of contact when system issues arise. They analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues as quickly as possible. If necessary, they consult with vendors and other technical support teams to resolve issues. ERP Systems Administrators coordinate and implement all system and infrastructure changes and ensure proper testing and change control processes are followed. ERP Systems Administrators are the primary custodian of custom files and programs and are responsible for maintaining proper backups for recovery. They maintain proper documentation of the ERP System's infrastructure including hardware, software, interfaces, enhancements, patches and other related processes and procedures. ERP Systems Administrators complete technical service requests related to system changes and enhancements. They analyze, develop, implement and document solutions to support user needs. ERP Systems Administrators serve as project manager for project requests and are responsible for ensuring technical compatibility and user satisfaction during the project life cycle. If necessary, they work with developers, CRMs and other technical teams to implement system solutions. Perform other work as required. Successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related degree; three to five years of experience in an IT organization with a focus on the development, maintenance and support of integrated web based and client/server applications plus experience as primary support for administration of an ERP environment including customer service; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Working knowledge of Windows Server 2012, IIS, network load balancing, and SQL Server 2014 to include experience with administration of application servers, operating systems and databases. Experience with integrated ERP financial solutions is necessary, preferably direct experience with ONESolution Finance involving support of the infrastructure as well as application configuration/scripting/reporting. Knowledge of project management techniques and systems configuration requirements for implementing/maintaining an ERP solution is essential. Experience with developing/implementing system administration procedures that are flexible and efficient to use and are consistent with technical standards is desirable. Must have the ability to effectively balance multiple competing priorities and work activities including the ability to work effectively with multiple IT and project groups supporting the ERP Systems. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
